If you have paid any monies for registration, please contact Tom Saville
for a full refund. We plan to operate the Oaxaca and Ecuador Study Aboard
programs in 2008. Thank you for your understanding.

is an organization that began in Sweden and then came to Oaxaca. Their
goal is to serve, educate, and protect the poor and abandoned children
of Oaxaca. During the course of your visit to Oaxaca you will most likely
hear a lecture by a Canica worker and if time permits visit a Canica

Dear Friends,
The reports from our people on the ground tell us that Oaxaca is on
the mend and the city will be able to receive our group in August. Dr.
Miah has decided to move forward with the Study Abroad Program in Oaxaca,
Mexico, August 5 – 18, 2007. The Study Abroad Web Site below will
direct you to the program particulars.
We
would like to feature some of our Social Work and Cultural Contacts
in Oaxaca. Mr. Bill Wolf is the Director of an HIV/AIDS out- reach program
in the state of Oaxaca. His work is truly inspiring as he supports the
people first hand in the city and surrounding areas on a shoestring
budget, and much personal sacrifice. In addition, Bill is involved in
the Arts Community of Oaxaca and is an artist and actor himself. His
personal testimony and other interests are also on the web site: on
the main page go to “Who is” and then to Key persons”
and scroll down and click on the asterisks to get some information on
Bill.
While in Oaxaca we will visit the Frente Comúm Contra El Sidsa
and spend some time with Bill. He will give us a presentation of his
social work in Oaxaca as well.
