Public Safety

Public Safety, located in the Washington Square building complex, consists of two divisions -- Police and Parking.

The Police division provides the university community such police services as law enforcement, security, crime detection and prevention, traffic and parking control, and emergency assistance. The division operates twenty-four hours per day, seven days per week. Specific functions include inventory investigation, motor vehicle accident reporting, information services, fingerprinting, building security, and regulation of building hours.
