Chancellor
The Chancellor of Southern Illinois University Carbondale, with offices in Anthony Hall, is responsible for the internal administration of Southern Illinois University Carbondale and reports to the president. Those administrative officers reporting to the chancellor are the Provost and Vice Chancellor, Executive Director of Administration, Executive Director of Finance, Vice Chancellor for Institutional Advancement, Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, Dean and Provost of the School of Medicine, Executive Director for Budgeting and Information Resources, Director of Intercollegiate Athletics, Executive Assistant to the Chancellor for Affirmative Action/ Equal Opportunity, Executive Assistant to the Chancellor for International and Economic Development, University General Counsel, the University Ombudsman, and the Faculty and Staff Ombudsman.
