Welcome to Photocommunications

University Photocommunications is an award winning creative design, production and services group responsible for the development of video, photographic and graphic materials to support the internal and external communication objectives of the University. University Photocommunications also houses a vast storehouse of historical images of SIU going back as far as the late 1800s.

University Photocommunications' roots reach all the way back to the Communications Media Services Division of SIU in the mid-1960s. Throughout its existence it has been an innovator and producer of specialized materials for a wide range of University clients and applications. With more than 100 years of combined experience in the areas of photography, audio and video production, and exhibit design, the professionals of University Photocommunications are generalists to some degree, with skills that cross many boundaries and disciplines.
