Saluki Pep Band
The Saluki Pep Band performs for men's and women's regular season home basketball games except those during Thanksgiving and semester breaks. Members should enroll in Music 012, section 2 for one hour of credit for the spring semester. Rehearsals during the spring are on Tuesdays from 5:30 P.M. to 6:30 P.M.
The band travels with the team every season to the Men's and Women's Missouri Valley Conference Tournaments as well as any post season tournaments which have included such destinations as San Jose, CA.
Uniforms for the Saluki Pep Band consist of a "classy" maroon and black bowling shirt that is supplied by the SIUC University Bands, and a custom made white shirt that members must purchase. Students must also supply white athletic shoes and socks.
The Saluki Pep Band is directed by Mr. Andrew Tucker.
