Technical Resource Management Mt. Vernon Program

 

The Bachelor of Science Degree in Technical Resource Management (TRM) adds to your previous technical training through a combination of University Core Curriculum requirements, TRM core requirements, technical and resource management requirements, and approved advanced electives.

Robotic Assembly LineThe TRM Mt. Vernon program is designed to serve individuals and multiple industries in Central and Southern Illinois. Classes are delivered in two formats:

  • On-site at the Rend Lake Marketplace (general public) and at Continental Tire (employees only).
  • On-line

The TRM major courses will be delivered over 4 semesters, 3 courses per semester. Students are responsible for working with the TRM advisor to coordinate completion of remaining degree requirements, such as University Core Curriculum (UCC) and/or technical/career electives.

Fall 2008 classes start September 8, and include:

  • TRM 364 Work Center Management. Delivered Sept 8 - Dec 17 (on-line)
  • *TRM 426 Technology and International Trade. Delivered Sept 8 - Oct 20 (on-site)
  • *HED 430 Health & Injury Control in a Work Setting. Delivered Oct 27 - Dec 17 (on-site)

*Note: On-site instruction will be on Mondays from 3:15 - 5:50. These accelerated courses are heavily supported with on-line activities.
