Child Care Center seeks dependable, enthusiastic, and motivated individuals to provide care and education to children 6 weeks to 6 years. Candidates must have 60 hours college credit with at least 6 hours of coursework related to the care and education of young children. Typically education, psychology, social work and recreation majors. A physical, TB test, and clear background check are required for employment. Lifeguard
Lifeguards will provide supervision of all persons using the indoor and outdoor aquatic facilities under the supervision of Recreational Sports and Services. The staff also provides aquatic and safety program information to participants of the SRC. Lifeguards must hold a current certification in American Red Cross Lifeguard Training, including CPR for the Professional Rescuer, First Aid, and AED. Lifeguards must successfully complete the SIUC Aquatic Lifeguard Skills Test.

Tasks include: copying, assisting with mass mailings by folding letters and stuffing envelopes (appx. 5,000 per month), checking test booklets for markings, and other clerical tasks as needed.
