** Enter in your network ID and current password (pw). Then enter in your new password twice. If popups are blocked on your computer, you will need to hold the "ctrl" key down before clicking on "Change". A dialog box will appear notifying you if the password change was successful or not. Password Expiration-unlocking network ID

Forgotten Password Process-to enroll
**
Enroll in this option before you forget your password. You will be asked a couple of
security questions when you enroll in this service. When you forget your password, use this option to temporarily reset your pw. You will then be prompted to answer the 2 security questions correctly when you request a pw reset.

Network ID Creation-for current SIUC students and instructors
Use your SSN for your Staff # or Student ID. Click here to view the PIN number guidelines.

Checking your email via Webmail
Log in using your network ID and your password. Keep in mind that by default, Webmail does
not save a copy of your sent mail so you should send a copy to yourself to download on your regular computer.

Setting Up Webmail to Save "Sent Mail"
Log into Webmail. Click on Preferences button, located in the upper right corner of the screen.
A dialog box will appear. Then click on Mail Folders at the top of the dialog box window. In the Add New Folder line, enter in a name of the folder you wish to create. Then click on Add. Then click on Send at the top of the dialog box window. Click "Yes" to copy sent mail to mailbox,
then use the drop-down arrow and select the folder you just created. Then click on Save Changes. You have now set up Webmail to create a copy of every message that is sent out using Webmail.

Intelligent Inbox:
Allows you to set up your email for an automatic response while you are out of the office, forward your SIUC email acct to another email account of your choice, and it allows you to create mail filters.

Auto Response:
Go the the Intelligent Inbox web page and log in using your network ID and current password. Once you have logged in, click on the "Vacation Notice" tab up at the top of the page. You
must specify the start date and time and end date and time and the Intelligent Inbox will do
the work for you. Everyone who emails you at this account during the date & time you specified will get this automatic response, this includes all junk emails.

Go through all the fields on that screen and customize it to suit your needs. You can create
your own email "body" for the auto-repsonse. When finished, be sure to click "Apply" at the bottom of the screen.

You do not have to go in and turn this feature off, it will do so automatically based on your
end date that you have set.
