Fire Service Management 

As program coordinator for the Fire Service Management Program, I would like to welcome you to our website. The goal of our program is to provide you, the fire service professional the opportunity to enhance your professional career through continued higher education.  

The faculty and staff of the Off-Campus Academic Programs (OCAP) are dedicated to meeting the educational needs of the fire professional. Southern Illinois University Carbondale is dedicated to meeting both the academic and technical needs of the fire service.  

The mission of the Fire Service Management Program (FSM) is to provide you, the fire service professional with highly trained and qualified instructors within the various fields of study in the FSM program. We are committed to the enhancement and advancement of fire service professionals through higher education.
