AIS-L Listserv

The AIS-L listserv was created to disseminate information to any user of AIS with a valid logon ID regarding general information about access to the Production database, notices of special activity and other related events.  This listserv is a public/announcement list which allows any individual to subscribe to the list.   The current administrators of this list are Frank Scobby (fscobby@siu.edu) and Suellyn Rowden (srowden@siu.edu).

Subscribing to the AIS-L List

To subscribe tothe list, simply send an email, from your email account, to: LISTSERV@SIU.EDU
The subject line can be ignored. The text of the email should contain only the following command:

SUB AIS-L Firstname Lastname

For Example:

To: listserv@siu.edu
From: John Smith johnsmith@siu.edu
Subj:
--------------------------------
SUB AIS-L John Smith

After sending the above note, you will receive a subscription confirmation and will be added to the list..

To Unsubscribe from the AIS-L List

If you wish to leave the list, send an email from your own email account, to LISTSERV@SIU.EDU
The subject line should be left blank. The text of the email should contain only the following command:

UNSUB AIS-L

For Example:

To: listserv@siu.edu
From: John Smith johnsmith@siu.edu
Subj:
--------------------------------
UNSUB AIS-L

After sending the above note, you will receive a removal confirmation and will be unsubscribe.
