Associate Director, Student Center (Operations and Maintenance)

Position Description: The Associate Director is responsible for the daily administration of the Student Center, including several auxiliary functions, physical operations of the facility, and staff supervision. This position performs diverse daily duties to achieve optimal building efficiencies and staff performance that affect revenue streams exceeding thirteen million dollars annually.

Responsibilities:

Required Qualifications: Master's degree required. 7 years of progressively responsible experience in major facility management and maintenance operations, risk management and supervision of staff, preferably in an educational setting. 3 years budgeting experience.

Preferred qualifications: Knowledge of basic building systems and safety requirements. Ability to communicate effectively and experience in developing and maintaining sound operational procedures and implementing unit administrative policies and procedures. Must have demonstrated managerial, organizational, and supervisory skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. The incumbent must be sensitive to all issues involved with life, safety, and security of all participants.

This is a security-sensitive position. Before any offer of employment is made, the university will conduct a pre-employment background investigation, which includes a criminal background check.

Salary: Commensurate with experience
