Adjunct Faculty in Department of Technology - College of Engineering
Southern Illinois University Carbondale

Position: Visiting Instructor

Qualifications: Master's degree, at least one degree must be industry related (such as industrial technology, engineering management, industrial engineering), and at least five years industrial experience or comparable teaching experience for the specific course being hired to teach.

Duties and Responsibilities: Teach courses in the Industrial Technology degree program. Typical courses are: Quality Control, Industrial Safety, Production and Inventory Control, Facilities Planning and Manufacturing Processes. The program is conducted in a weekend format.

Salary: Commensurate with qualifications.

Effective Date of Appointment: Depending on the course scheduled to be taught over the two-year program.
