Position:  History Lecturers at Southern Illinois University Carbondale

Rank:  Lecturer

Qualifications:  Candidates must have Ph.D. or ABD in History by date of appointment and have the ability to teach courses in one or more of the following areas: World History, American History, East Asian History. Preference will be given to applicants with teaching experience.

Duties:  Teaching undergraduate survey courses in one or more of the areas listed above.  Applicants with another area of specialization will be considered. Teaching assignment will depend upon the Department's needs and the qualifications of the applicant.

Effective Date of Appointment:  August 16, 2008
