Position Description: Instructors/Lecturers (variable
percent of time) in the Department of Educational Psychology and Special
Education throughout the academic year 2007-2009.
Responsibilities: Teach courses at the undergraduate/graduate level in
special education.
Requirements of Candidates: The rank of Instructor requires an earned Master's degree in Special Education or a related field. The rank of Lecturer requires an earned Doctorate in Special Education or related field.
Effective Date of Appointment: Summer 2008 or Fall 2008 or Spring
2009 or Summer 2009
Appointment and Salary: Salary is commensurate with qualifications. These
are Non-tenure Track positions and do not lead to tenure. Prior to an offer of
employment, a pre-employment background investigation, which includes a criminal
background check, maybe required.
