of Marketing and Public Information
Qualifications:
Masters degree in (preferred) business or related field (such as marketing, communications, public relations, including Juris Doctor).
Minimum of two years experience in a university media relations setting, corporate/professional environment, or a business school setting.
Supervisory experience and familiarity with business disciplines are essential.
The candidate must have communication, organizational, and administrative/leadership skills, including outstanding written and oral presentation skills, exceptional creative skills, and strong project management skills.
Duties: Coordinator of Marketing and Public Information will develop and
evaluate public relations,
marketing, and communications campaigns using a mix of new media technologies as
well as traditional methods. This position is responsible for the overall
planning, management, and review of CoBA marketing, communication, and public
relations efforts through creative and analytical evaluation of brand image,
message, and targeted audiences; developing materials for websites, news
releases, traditional and digital publications, exhibits, and other media
communications vehicles in pursuit of College strategic intent; establishing
strong lines of communication with internal groups to develop stories and
messages concerning college activities, research success, alumni news, and other
items to establish and highlight college image.
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Starting Date: Preferred starting date of September 22, 2008
