Position: Finance Department, Tenure-Track Assistant or Associate Professor

Qualifications: We are seeking an individual who has earned a Doctorate in finance or a related field and has a minimum of three years post PhD teaching experience at the effective date of employment. This individual should be strongly committed to quality scholarly research and teaching, with a research record including acceptances or publications in top tier journals such as: Journal of Financial Economics, Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial & Quantitative Analysis, Review of Financial Studies or Journal of Money, Credit & Banking. Academic career specializing in corporate finance or financial institutions is required.

Duties: Teaching Finance undergraduate/graduate level courses, specializing in corporate finance or financial institutions, as well as performing research in area(s) of expertise and working with graduate students. Limited service activity is expected.

Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Starting Date: Preferred date of August 16, 2008, but may be deferred to January 12, 2009, upon mutual agreement.

We have approximately 1,500 undergraduate and 250 graduate students.
