Thomas P. “Pete” Wittmann
and Kenny Troutt met as members of the Saluki
football team and went on to become roommates,
fraternity brothers, successful business partners
and to this day, they remain best friends in
Dallas. Now, Wittmann, a native of Town and Country,
Mo., is generously giving back to his alma mater
and honoring his best friend with this new facility,
the first at SIUC funded by a single donor.
