Project Goals

• Establish a new campus core – Saluki Way – that will serve as a concrete example of the goals of Southern at 150
• Enrich the campus through the creation of an integrated academic and athletics complex
• Create a showplace for friends, donors, and alumni to rekindle, foster, and develop passion and love for the institution
• Develop a fiscally responsive approach to plan development
• Architecture to be compatible, complementary and respectful of existing campus architecture and future architectural and design guidelines
• Maximize opportunities to consolidate and bring together functions such as Advancement and Student Affairs
• Land Use Plan, vehicular and pedestrian access must be central to the Master Plan
