Class Information
New Students
New students are welcome to drop in anytime during class. Experiencing Shinkendo is often the best way to determine if it's right for you.
Uniforms are highly recommended but training weapons are
necessary. The initial cost for a bokken is inexpensive, around
$15. Until one has a uniform, training can be done in athletic
wear. Bokkens may be provided as determined by need but the
student is highly encouraged to purchase his or her own.
Dojo Dues
As
a Registered Student Organization, class fees are currently set at $25
per semester and are collected during the first month of classes.
Fees are used for purchasing training equipment as well as various
class related activities.
