General Directors and Staff

Timothy Fink has served as either Artistic Director or Co-General Director of the McLeod Summer Playhouse since 1997. Recent directing credits include Urinetown for the McLeod Mainstage, the opera Hansel and Gretel for the Marjorie Lawrence Opera Theater, and I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change for the McLeod Summer Playhouse. Other directing credits include Donizetti's Don Pasquale, Puccini's La Rondine, Rodgers and Hammerstein's A Grand Night for Singing, HMS Pinafore, and Starting Here, Starting Now.

Mark K. Varns Mark holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in Theatre Design and Technology from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Mark has worked with a number of university, regional, and summer stock theatres, including Alabama Shakespeare Festival, McLeod Summer Playhouse, Clinton Area Showboat Theatre, Sacramento Theatre Company, Central Missouri Rep, Utah Shakespearean Festival, Missouri Repertory Theatre, New Harmony Theater, Millikin University and, the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
