Requirements:
1. FLIT major who will serve or has served the FLIT internship in current year.
2. Minimum 2.75 GPA

4. Submit itemized list of forecasted expenses
5. Recipients must submit an approved Internship Sponsor Verification form before funds can be disbursed

Bradley Alexander Study Abroad Gift
Requirements:
1. Foreign Language and International Trade major specializing in Spanish
2. Enrolled/will enroll in a study abroad program to study Spanish within a year

5. Recipient must send a letter of appreciation to Mr. Bradley

Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in any DFLL course.
- Completed 2 semesters foreign language at SIUC.

Helmut and Mary Liedloff Scholarship in German
Requirements:
- Serious and good student and resident of Illinois.
- Commitment to German shown in high school and must study either German or
- FLIT (German) at SIUC.
- Nominated by a high school teacher, high school counselor or by writing directly to the DFLL.
Award: Tuition charges for fall and spring semesters, renewable with minimum 3.0 GPA.

Requirements:
- Woman in a CoLA major.
- Preparing to enter junior or senior year.

- Sample of written work concerning some subject in the Liberal Arts.
Award: One year's tuition for study in the humanities at SIUC.

- Full-time female student in the College of Liberal Arts

SIUC Women's Caucus Monetary Scholarship
Requirements:
- Full or part-time female undergraduate SIUC student

- written statement of financial need and current support

Presidential Scholar Award
Requirements:
- Entering freshman or renewing sophomore, junior, or senior
- Must have been in top two percent of high school class
- ACT composite score of at least 30 (25 for African Americans and Hispanic Americans)
- Renewing sophomores, juniors and seniors must maintain minimum 3.5 GPA.
Award: full in-state tuition plus $1,000 per academic year and for sophomores, juniors and seniors an optional internship position paying up to $2,700 per academic year

Robert C. Byrd Honors Scholarship Program
Requirements:
- Demonstrate outstanding academic achievement in high school
- Show promise of continued achievement at the college level
- Graduate of a public or private secondary school or have the equivalent of a certificate of graduation
- Admitted for enrollment at an institution of higher education
Award: $1,500 for first year of study at an institution of higher education (not renewable)

Rotary Foundation Scholarships
Requirements:
- Two year's university work prior to commencement of scholarship studies
- Age 18 through 24 inclusive
- May not be married for duration of scholarship

Roscoe Pulliam Memorial Scholarship
Requirements:
- Child, Grandchild, or sibling to an alumnus/na of SIUC who is a current member of the SIU Alumni Association
- An admitted or currently enrolled undergraduate student registered for a minimum of 12 semester hours.
- Three letters of recommendation---Two from any of the following: clergy, SIUC faculty/staff, or persons of responsibility who can attest to one's moral constitution.---One from the relative holding current Association membership who can attest to one's leadership qualities.
- A copy of one's SIUC financial award letter
- A new freshman student must rank in the upper 10% of his/her high school graduating class and score a minimum of 26 on the ACT or minimum 1180 on the SAT.
- Currently enrolled students should have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 and provide current transcript.
- A transfer student should have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 for all colleges attended and provide all transcripts.
- Award winners will be expected to attend the SIU Alumni Association's Homecoming Luncheon and dine with the Pulliam family.

Other scholarships are available to students involved with a particular activity or organization. For example, students participating in the University Honors Program may apply for Honors Scholarships. There are also talent awards in music, art, theater, and debate, ROTC scholarships, and athletic scholarships.
To obtain a private grant or scholarship, check as many sources as possible: high schools, local clubs and civic organizations, businesses, church groups, and alumni organizations. Many libraries contain reference books that list sources of scholarship money.
