The
SIUC Small Business Incubator Program
The Office of Economic
and Regional Development at Southern Illinois University-Carbondale
established the Small Business Incubator Program with assistance
from the Illinois Department of Commerce and Community Affairs.
This program has assisted over 50 organizations start and
expand their operations since the program's inception in 1991.
Housed in the Dunn-Richmond Economic Development Center, located
on the newly formed Southern Illinois Research Park, the Small
Business Incubator is adjacent to the main campus at Southern
Illinois University Carbondale.
The SIUC
Small Business Incubator Program's mission is to accelerate
the start-up and expansion of small businesses in Southern
Illinois. The Small Business Incubator is here to provide
the guidance and consulting necessary to make sure those startups
and expanding firms have the tools necessary to succeed.
