College of Liberal Arts

The College of Liberal Arts is comprised of departments in the Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences. These units offer a wide range of Majors, Minors, and Independent Programs.

 

Liberal Arts is also heavily involved in the Core Curriculum and the Honors Program.

 

New in 2005, is an exciting educational opportunity, Curriculum 21. Students may complement studies for their major by selecting from a range of options that will greatly enrich their education experience.

Curriculum 21

The goal of Curriculum 21 is to cultivate academic values and
encourage ambitious students to pursue activities that will enrich
their undergraduate learning. The program is open to any student who
is a major in the College of Liberal Arts, who is in good academic
standing, and who completes at least two semesters at SIUC after
